Re: Recorder Audio Files

What SDRuno records is a wideband I/Q recording which is a really great and seriously FAT thing - but not an audio recording, even though the filename extension is .WAV. HDSDR is much more flexible when it comes into recordings. You can record I/Q and audio, and schedule recordings with powerful adj...

Re: Heterodyne or direct sampling?

I share Andy's curiosity with the same matters.

BTW... it think 2017 might be remembered as the year of really nice promiseware releases. Really high spec gear with easy pricing... most of them not yet shipping for some reason.

Re: Occupied Uno

Oh:-I But thanks for answering. I have even thought buying a half-broken RSP (RF-end burned or like), but I don't have plans to visit my remote site in person during the winter months. Luckily, two HDSDRs can be cheated to run at a same time. Hey, actually my favorite solution would be: Just launch ...

Re: Occupied Uno

Anything new for this - as SDRuno is recently updated? My RSP2 is very busy almost all the time, monitoring and recording this and that, automatized, occupied by HDSDR. Meanwhile, I would like to use SDRuno to listen my I/Q recordings. But, SDRuno refuses to start as there are "Not any RSPs availabl...

NA MW broadcast mem panel data

Hi, in case you reside in Europe and like to listen North American MW BC stations, the included SDRuno S1B memory bank file might be of use for you. It is a list of all 10kHz spacing MW frequencies with descriptions containing NA station calls and locations, which have been heard this year in southe...

Re: Version 1.21 now available - details here

Hi Andy, nice to hear that CAT control expansions are being discussed. For now I need to use another software in addition to SDRuno just because the other one can be kicked recording from the command line, as well as scheduled. I'll check the hamlib development. Station automation is such a cool thi...

Re: Version 1.21 now available - details here

Hi Jon, oh how nice to see the SDRuno roadmap, there seems to be very interesting things coming up. I can't resist in adding one very small related wish: Please give us some way to start/stop recording from outside of SDRplay. Like a command line parameter, CAT-command or DDE command. It might not b...

Re: command line and remote control options

Hi, you don't tell what you like to say in the command line... but I think SDRuno doesn't take much. HDSDR does have some command line controls for making recordings, for example. The only way to find out them is naturally to give some gibberish in the command line after HDSDR and read the error mes...

Re: Propagation-triggered recording

Great propagation at last night it was. Over five hours, about 130 gigabytes of I/Q recordings was caught. It contains over a hundred hours of audio from over a hundred MW AM broadcast stations to be identified :-o

Recording log is there: http://oh2bua.fi

Installation note for remote users

Hi, this is for other remote operators, I mean if you don't have physical access to your RSP and host computer - and therefore found difficult to follow the installation requirements like "unplug all RSP devices before continuing" and "be sure that RSP is connected before you start...". Do NOT upgra...
