Re: Extended 10Mhz sweep range when ??
I'm wondering if Steve has abandoned this project? If so would be a shame but everything he has already done is greatly appreciated.....

Re: CubicSDR Build Issues
I once installed Skywave on an old Dell Optiplex 360 with no issues and it did see and work with the SDRPlay RSP1. But after using GQRX, CubicSDR, etc. for awhile I realized that these programs are somewhat lacking compared to their Windows counterparts and so I reformatted the computer and went wit...

Re: HDSDR download from SDRPlay won't run
That sounds like it deletes the Win registry entries for SDRPlay settings. I've never used the HDSDR download from SDRPlay because I don't want the whole thing every time and be forced to run the driver installer etc. each time if I just want the latest HDSDR. My method has always been to first down...

Re: LOW PASS FILTER FOR OPTIMUM LOW FREQUENCY RECEPTION
Very good and very well done! Thank you!
For about the last 3 years, I've been using a surplus commercial 500khz lowpass filter for NDB searching etc. and it works wonders - vastly improves the RSP1 here at those frequencies.

Re: Cubic The Only Mac program For The RSP-2 ?
Unfortunately, the current Linux & Mac software offerings for SDR use are way behind their Windows counterparts in terms of features, ease of installation, and overall performance. I think that hardware & software developers are still concentrating most of their efforts where the large majority (82....

Re: Easiest Software To Learn And Use Opinion ?
Hi, the simplest by far of the Windows based programs is HDSDR. It is available for download here on the SDRPlay website along with the others.

Re: HDSDR And RSP-2: selecting Which Ant. For Program ?
Hi Bob, I'm not certain but I think that you can select antennas from the Device Controller panel. In the new version of HDSDR (Beta 2.80) you can access that panel from the top button at the lower left of the HDSDR screen, the button which is labeled "SDR-Device" On other versions of HDSDR, it is t...

Re: Loop Construction
Another method which works well is to bend said tubing around a 55 gallon barrel, preferably an old one so that you don't mind putting a small hole in it. Attach one end of the tubing to the barrel with a small screw or ?, and then gently walk around the barrel, bending the tubing around the circumf...

Re: Ghosts in the system
I can't imagine why your RSP2 is doing that. I use an RSP1A which is essentially the same in terms of core signal processing circuitry and I do not have such ghost signals.
Has anything in your software changed? Gain settings perhaps?
