Also you say you are using v2.3 build 2355, simon has done some major updates to 2.3 for the sdrplay, now at build 2381, try the latest version, works fine here on a i3 laptop @ 2.1ghz with 6gb ram...

you just need a Virtual Audio Cable, VAC there are two options, one has a free sample for 1 cable

this will allow you to pipe the audio from any sdr program HDSDR or SDR-Console into CWGet...

Gain at 0 is MAX wide open, you need to go the other way -60 to -80 for HF on a good antenna.....

You can download CSVUserlist, from http://www.df8ry.de/htmlen/csvub/ovHDSDR.htm
this will allow you to step through frequencies using HDSDR & SDR-Console once you setup with HDSDR, the same settings will work with console

Simon is waiting on 1.81 which is due soon, then he will update....hopefully he will also remove the sdrplay dll version check
then updates will be able to be updated by copying over the the new api when it is released... And yes the SDRPlay guys are in contact with Simon...
