Kind of a weird combination.
For listening not much is needed, just 2 pieces of wire (the longer the better) and a transmission-line (typical called coax or twin-line).
That's it.

For the feed-line you can use coax and your done. Works just as well and costs near to nothing as you can use any wire you like.
If you want to have optimal results on a specific band, then use this math: 300/MHz/4=length of each leg in meters.
For example you want to receive 2m band: 300/144/4=0.52m so each leg has to be about 52cm's and you have an almost perfect 2m-band antenna.
Keep in mind that for HF reception almost any length works and the longer or close to specific the better.
