Not saving windows
Re: Not saving windows
Hi all
I finally got it. The support centre put me in the right direction.
Must left click and, at the same time, press CTR key. It's the trick.
Thanks to you all and people in support centre.

Re: Not saving windows
A Solution
This worked for me. Thanks.
On the SDRuno Main window:-
1. Click on a blank part of the window to select the window.
2. Press CTRL-W
3. A white list of all your workspaces appears
4. Click on the one you wish to save
5. A message 'Current Workspace Saved' appears
6. Click OK

Re: Not saving windows
I'm having the same issue.
No amount of clicking and CTRL-W is bringing up the list of workspaces.
EDIT: Perhaps I should note that it was not installed in the default location (ie. not under "Program Files").
Ideas anyone?
TIA

Re: Not saving windows
Just installed a second copy on my Windows 10 laptop. This time I left the installation directory as the default.

Re: Not saving windows
I have found that the mouse pointer must be hovering over the workspace name (at the lower right side of the Main window). If your mouse pointer is in the correct location a tooltip should briefly appear: "Current workspace - click to select".1. Click on a blank part of the window to select the window.

Re: Not saving windows
My comment above was procedure to select the workspace menu.

Re: Not saving windows
Control-W is used in most, maybe all, web browsers to close a window in this case a web page. You can try it in a browser so see if your computer kbd is working properly. I know it works in Firefox and Cortana.

Re: Not saving windows
Well, I somehow managed to save the workspace. I'm not quite sure exactly what did it, but I tried hovering over the workspace name, clicking the mouse and <CTRL><W> at the same time. There was no message, nothing. But now selecting another workspace, then re-selecting the saved one, restores the windows. And closing SDRuno and re-running brings up all my windows again. Yah!
Thanks for the hints!

Re: Not saving windows again.
I just upgraded to version 1.3 and it lost the workspace that I had saved. So I rearranged the windows where I wanted them and tried to save them again using the old trusty CTRL and left mouse click, but it didn't save it. I tried several times and still zip. Did version 1.3 somehow change the way you save the workspace? Or is this some kind of a bug in version 1.3?
