Re: Change LO frequency
Not really quick, but dirty?
Set you main receiver to the desired frequency, quit SDRuno and start it again.
After that I locked the frequency immediately and set the receivers to my favourite frequencies.

Re: Change LO frequency
Hello vktti,
The LO will change whenever you change the frequency of your VFO by either scrolling your mouse wheel over the frequency display or by entering a new frequency directly. The only time when this is not the case is when your LO is locked in the main panel. If it is, unlock it and then scroll your VFO frequency and the LO will change with it.
Sincerely

Re: Change LO frequency
But sometime you like to have a "special" LO frequency.
In my case I like to monitor two relays and two often used local frequencies. So I like to have my LO in the middle of them.
Therefor I store this frequency labelled "start" and lock it after start-up to prevent shifting all rx when clicking in waterfall to pick up a signal.
I think the possibility to directly enter the LO frequency will be very nice

Re: Change LO frequency
Hello Lena,
At the moment, that is not possible because of the way frequency inputs are managed in SDRuno. This is on our list of things to change, but it will be in some future release as it requires a major re-write in some key elements of the code.
You can already do what you want with some other software such as HDSDR.

Re: Change LO frequency
Hey, nice to hear!
So long I can live with my work around.
I don't want to use another program, because I like SDRuno very much and at the moment I have a lot of other things to learn.

Re: Change LO frequency
Hi, this is my first time using RSP1A and SDRUno, so apologies if my question is a bit silly
Why does the Main Frequency and LO Frequency not always read the same ? Even shows in some of the guides I have looked but I cannot seem to find a reason why.
Example: Rx freq 9.690.000, LO 9.860.500

Re: Change LO frequency
I would very much like to be able to change the LO in the same way that we currently change the RX, but can wait. I like SDRUno too much to go back to another SDR program. The workarounds are a pain, but doable. I'd also like to see a way to change the default bands as 70cm is much more important to me than 160, etc.
You don't want the RX and LO to be the same as you will be listening to noise from the local oscillator where you are looking for signals. I still find myself chasing the LO on occasion though. I guess it's better than putting a blank spot in for the LO.
