New Vers. 1.3 Screen Size Adjusting: How, Please ?

Hello,

Should probably know the answer to this, but just
can't seem to do it:

Have downloaded and installed correctly (I think) the latest 1.3 version.

When I click on the shortcut icon to open it up, yes, all
the expected screens are there.

But, they are really, really small.

a. How do I re-size all the screens, please ? And how to keep this new size as the "default" ?

b. And, just to check, where is the version being used shown ?

Thanks,
Bob

Hello Robert,

A number of the panels are a fixed size (Main Window, RX control panel, EX control panel, scanner panel and the recorder panel). The other panels (SP1, SP2, memory panel and the RDS information panel) can all be resized by dragging the bottom right hand corner of the window and in the SP1 case, right click on the arrow in the bottom right hand corner and there are some sizes it can snap to.

Best regards,

Andy

Hi,

Something just isn't right with this.

The older vesion had screens that were perfect. Right size and readable.
No problems.

I changed nothing on pc or on display.

Absolutely un-readable now, and literally impossible to use like it is.

On the screens that you can drag a corner, all that happens is that the
screen does get bigger, BUT the text still remains small and unreadable.

Can you please make it like what it was on previous versions ?
Truly unreadable the way it is now.

Or, let me know what to do ?

Hard to believe that I'm the only one with this "problem," or am I ?

Thanks, as always, for help,
Bob

Hi,

Forgot to mention:

Have a very normal pc, not a laptop.

Using program on an iMac via Parallels emulation.

All other programs, etc. look just fine.

Robert can you download the 1.3 installer and reinstall it again.

Let me know what you find.

Best regards,

Andy

Hi,

Did the new re-install, as you suggested.

Same problem. Impossible to use as all is just so, so small.

Something "wrong," as old(er) versions weren't like this.

Thoughts ?

Thanks for help, as always,
Bob

So I had the same problem on my Microsoft Surface 4. I was able to correct the issue for now by:
1) right click on the SDRuno icon
2) select properties
3) select compatibility from the top menu
4) select "Change high DPI setting"
5) select the check box for " Override high DPI scaling behavior"
6) select "system" from the drop down menu
7) select OK
8) select Apply
9) try opening SDRuno again and hopefully it worked

I'm trying to understand what could have changed between releases. Is someone able to record a video showing the following (I would obviously provide 1.24 installer for this test)...

Start recording the video
Install 1.24
Start 1.24 and show it working
Install 1.3
Start 1.3 and show it failing
Show the OS display resolution and any scaling that is being applied
Stop recording the video

Send the video (or a link to it) to software@sdrplay.com

Let me know and I can provide 1.24 if you don't have it.

Best regards,

Andy

Hi Jared,

It works; everything looks "normal" now.

Thanks so much.
Really nice of you to take the time; much appreciated.

May annoy you with some more of my dumb questions in
the future, but, for now, all is happiness.

You're a genius.

Regards,
Bob
