Setting up SDRUno to be controlled by Omni-Rig?

I'm interested in using Faros 1.4 (http://www.dxatlas.com/Faros/) with an SDRplay RSPduo and SDRUno to monitor NCDXF beacons (http://www.ncdxf.org/pages/beacons.html). This involves:
-- SDRUno passing audio to Faros via VAC (something I'm very familiar with from working with WSJT-X); and
-- using Faros' Omni-Rig functionality to pass commands to SDRUno to do frequency changes.
The audio interface shouldn't be a problem, but I've never controlled SDRUno from another software app using Omni-Rig. I gather I'll need to define one or two virtual com ports to use as the interface.
Beyond that, any suggestions on what I need to do on the SDRUno end? Is there a particular place in SDRUno, for example, that I would enable Omni-Rig control and enter the number of the com port to monitor? Are there any writeups anywhere that cover topics like this?
