Installed over the previous version and runs ok.

Locks up / crashes at seemingly random times when various parameters are changed while running.

Are you able to provide any details - Are there any error messages displayed ? Can you reproduce the crash conditions ?

There are no gain controls available. Setting the reference level sets the LNA and IF gain reductions according to lookup tables.

The beta version operates on Vista apart from scrolling the centre frequency
Mouse scrolling does not change any digits however the digit/s can be hi-lighted (and flash) with the mouse and changed by keyboard arrows and also new frequency can be entered from the keyboard

Vista does not seem to recognize the scroll wheel. As you mention, keyboard entry mode is possible.

What would be much better would be a control such as that in SDRuno, SDRSharp, etc....i.e. each digit highlighted with a small line above or below the digit, and using the mousewheel and up/dn arrows to change value with automatic rollover.

Err... The control already works as you have suggested. Check the manual.

I also find that at present, I like the spectrum display in SDRUno better because I can use & control FFT averaging regardless of frequency span, up to the full 10 mhz. I do realize that for large spans i.e. > 10mhz , averaging would be too slow and so that is the purpose of the new video filter. Bravo and thank you for that. Also, the spectrum display in SDRUno updates VERY quickly, even at 10mhz span. I think that SAS ver 0.9 did this also. So would be good in SAS if the display could update that quickly when using spans up to 10mhz, and then scan as it does now for spans higher than that.

The analyser tunes in steps of 1, 2 or 3 MHz depending on selected IF and bandwidth. It is possible to get an extremely fast update at 10MHz bandwidth, but the output will be Zero-IF and will include the DC spike in the middle of the spectrum.

Works well here...

Hover the mouse over each digit and the digit under the mouse will have a grey box around it - at that point you can use the mouse scroll wheel to either increase or decrease the value. You can also click on the digit and then the grey box starts to flash, now you can use the up and down arrows on the keyboard as well.

Hope that helps explain how it works. I can't explain why it may not work on certain systems.

Works well here...

Thank you Andy but still not working as intended. I am a software developer myself and I use similar controls in some of my applications, including a custom frequency selector which I wrote myself for use in a transceiver CAT control program so I'm familiar with how it should work but I don't know either why it doesn't work here. Could be something to do with my computer hardware or mouse driver I suppose. Oh well no worries.
