GQrx and/or SDRdx On A Mac ?
Hello,
Anyone know if either, or both:
GQrx
SDRdx
will work well with an RSP-2 directly on a Mac ?
Thanks,
Bob

Re: GQrx and/or SDRdx On A Mac ?
GQRX does work on some Macs and not on others on some weekdays and not on others and depending on the day's relative lunar humidity. The exact configurations, dates, and conditions can be determined by reading your coffee mud or tea leaves.
On my current Macbook Pro (mid 2012, 10.12.6) GQRX only works with the older API (2.11.2) and the following tricks:
- Start older version of GQRX (2.9) and open the 'Configure I/O devices' window. The RSP-2 doesn't show there.
- Quit the older GQRX version and start it again. The RSP-2 now shows up in the 'Configure I/O devices' window.
- Quit the old version of GQRX and start the newer one (2.11.5).
- Check that the RSP-2 shows up in the 'Configure I/O devices' window.
- Find a combination of input rate and bandwidth that will work on that particular day. 6.000.000 mostly does but not always.
- If it works, enjoy.
