RSP2 with SDR-Console v2.3 build-2381

Just got the RSP2 today.

I am going to use it with the SDR-Console v2.3 (build 2381) radio software.
From the SDR-Console manual, it is mentioned that the Windows API hardware driver must be installed first.
At present, the API /Hardware driver v1.97 provided in the SDRplay webpage is for RSP1 only.

Can this API version 1.97 be used for RSP2 also?

No, we are working on the API and will be working with Simon Brown on the changes required for SDR Console to support the RSP2.
