I have a PI3 running thing the SDRPlay .img from downloads. I have SoapyRemote running on it. I start up CubicSDR 2.2.3 on my Mac, it sees the SDRPlay, I connect, and one second later it exits. Not crash, but exit. Run CubicSDR on a Windows box, does the same thing.
Known issue?

Not a known issue as far as I know. Can you post any debug information from the server? Can you also post what settings you are using in CubicSDR with the device?
Best regards,

The soapyserver gets a segfault.

Couple of things... do you get the same problem running CubicSDR on the RPi3? (i.e. locally, not remotely)
Also, is this on a wired lan? I'm working through a similar issue with some guys here:
https://github.com/pothosware/SoapyRemote/issues/26
However, I understand the issue on Odroid. RPi should not have the same issue, the only real way to tell is to add debug into the SoapySDRPlay library. If you are able to edit source code and recompile it, I can walk you through it.

CubicSDR works fine on the PI, to the RSP local, but exhibits the same crash when going through the SoapyRemote, segfault.
I am a pretty seasoned dev, so I can go through with gdb and see what is happening.
But I just read through issue 26, and I see you are dealing with 32/64 bit issues. FWIW, 32/64 bit issues are why I avoid
int
like the plague.

So, with debug mode, I found that cranking down the sample rate to 1Mhz, it did not crash anymore.
