You are a keen observer, wrong series values with the attenuator in previous post!!. Better performance, easier to make shown here below.

As written in a previous post in this same thread, it is easy to damage the Noise Source BG7TBL if using a power supply voltage of 12 V DC or higher, even though the Source is rated for up to 15 V. For safety is best never to increase supply voltage above 9 V DC. In general what happens is that one of the three wideband amplifiers in cascade blows up, but the noise generator and the other two amplifiers still work and generate a useful noise signal although at a lower output level.

It is worthwhile to try and recover the noise source by bypassing the damaged wideband amplifier, as shown in the uploaded picture. In my case it was the final stage that blew up and it was easy to solder a jumper wire across it.
