HDSDR And RSP-2: selecting Which Ant. For Program ?

Hello,
New at this.
For HDSDR, how does one select which Ant. input on the RSP-2 the program uses ?

Hi Bob, I'm not certain but I think that you can select antennas from the Device Controller panel. In the new version of HDSDR (Beta 2.80) you can access that panel from the top button at the lower left of the HDSDR screen, the button which is labeled "SDR-Device"
On other versions of HDSDR, it is the button just to the right of the mode selector buttons. Hope this helps!

Hi,
Thanks for help with this.
I looked where you suggested, and just about at very other button.
I cannot find anything that allows for selection of which antenna to use from the Sdrplay RSP-2
as the input to the program.
I'm using vers. 2.76a which I believe is apparently the latest.
Might you perhaps take a look again, and if practical
send me a screen shot of where the selection choice is.

The last two buttons are CW and the last is DRM

Click the EXTIO button and select your antenna from the popup. This is also how you configure all the other settings for the RSP.

Hi Roger,
Thanks so much for help.
Not too sharp with this, so please ber with me a bit.
When I click the EXT IO button in the HDSDR program, I get an immediate
pop up error msg.
It says: "No hardware specific EXIO-DLL found.
A EXT IO DLL is necessary to control your SDR Hardware. Copy the
DLL to the HDSDR Installation Directory"
So, please, where do I get the DLL they refer to and apparently i need ?
What exactly is it called ?
Where do put it ?

You need to install the EXTIO.dll so that HDSDR is able to run with your RSP.
If you install the SDRplay version of HDSDR it will install everything for you and create startup icons for your RSP2. You can download the RSP version of HDSDR here:
https://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/
Uninstall your copy of HDSDR first before running the SDRplay install package
