Mode A & Mode C (Mode S, ADSB)
Mode A & Mode C (Mode S, ADSB)
Any one know working solution for SDRPlay use on Mode A and Mode C 1090 MHz reception and decoding?
Any platform Win, RPI or Ubuntu... but Win 10 preferable.
At the moment using SDRPlay with SDR# and ADSBPlugin with ModeSMixer2
Mode S and ADSB working fine,
after learning to live with glitch and bugs
Tnx

Re: Mode A & Mode C (Mode S, ADSB)
Windows: http://www.sdrplay.com/software/SDRplay ... ws_0.1.zip
extract files and run dump1090_sdrplay with command line options in a command prompt. The built in HTTP server doesn't work yet so suggested use is to created a start.bat file containing...
.\dump1090_sdrplay.exe --interactive --net --net-ro-port 30002 --net-beast --mlat
then install virtual radar and it works just fine from there.
For non-Windows OS there are two versions of dump1090 on our github repository...
https://github.com/SDRplay/dump1090 - this is the same version as the Windows one
https://github.com/SDRplay/dump1090_sdrplus - this version has support for RTL, HackRF and Airspy as well as the RSP now.
Both require building, for the dump1090_sdrplus version, check the build_libs.txt file with a guide to how to build all the dependencies.
NOTE: This is the first release and some functionality (change gain, frequency, AGC) has been removed as we are still optimising and improving the system. Future updates will have those features back in.
We are also putting an installer and documentation together for the Windows version to make it more user friendly. Check back for updates.
Best regards,
SDRplay Support
