Which one for FTDX-5000 pan adapter?

Going to set one up for a big wall display. Not sure if worth considering a dual rx model or Pro etc. Cannot see how a second rx might be utilized at a later date. Opinions appreciated.
Also- I came across this thread and do not understand the concept of using the T vs simply using the IF out:
