what resolution for display with Raspberry + RSP?

Hello friends,
I ask you what should be a correct resolution for a dedicated LCD touchscreen to be connected to a Raspberry in order to build a standalone receiver with my RSP 1A?
I should prefer a compact solution but I don't know whether a 7" 800x480 (like the RB-LCD-7 - which has the advantage of using the dedicated display connector instead of the HDMI port) or a 5" with the same resolution (like the RB-LCD5) are suited for this purpose.
The software should be CubicSDR.
