For Anyone using CUBIC, Please. No Sound ?
For Anyone using CUBIC, Please. No Sound ?
Hi,
Trying to get CUBIC 2.5 going on new w10 pc. Have a RSP-2
It shows up just fine, and seems to be running fine.
There is a nice spike at 10 MHz, which i am assuming is WWV.
But, i cannot get any sound out of the pc's Green rear jack; either to external
speakers or Headphone.
As it's a brand new W10 pc, it might be some Setting in it, but I think I have
all of the pc setting correct for Sound (but maybe not ?)
Have pretty well convinced myself, rightly or wrongly, that it is something in the program that I
have not selected correctly. Am pretty new with CUBIC on a pc.
(is there perhaps some additional _api or DLL that I should have downloaded, that is req. for sound ouput ?)
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, would be most appreciative. I'm really stumped.
Thanks, as always,
Bob

Sometimes it's really easy to miss the obvious (I'm good at doing this!).
Have you checked that your PC's sound settings are set for external speakers or headphones and not defaulting to internal speakers?
Don't despair - You'll get there eventually - someone will have the answer...
