SDR-Console on a tablet: TOUCHSCREEN ISSUES

I've got my SDRplay radio working on my Lenovo 7" Windows 10 tablet using SDR-Conole 2.2. It works, but the interface with a touchscreen is less than elegant.... tapping or swiping the frequency numerals in the VFO only allows tuning UP frequency - no way to tap, swipe, pinch etc to DECREASE the tuned frequency that I can find. I know, I know, SDR-Console is not intended for a touchscreen- but surely there should be some basic ability in ANY Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 product to use a touch interface in some sensible way.

ALSO: Maximum spectrum span I can set is 250 kHz, all higher spans are 'greyed out.' Is this some limit of CPU power or USB bandwidth that SDR-Console is 'sensing' and so setting this span limit?

FINALLY is there a BETTER touchscreen alternative to SDR-Console out there I could use with my SDRplay??

I agree using touch is really a struggle! The program runs quite fine on my Onda tablet which is an Atom X5-z8300 cpu. I would try a mouse or trackball connected to an OTG adapter on your micro usb port, if your tablet supports that!
