Some predictions for the insertion of the fork of gr-osmosdr for SDRPlay support in the official version?

I've been trying to get the work done by Jeff Long (https://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewt ... f=7&t=2881) adopted back into the core project but as yet I've not had much luck with any responses. I'll keep trying. Hopefully this will be possible as it works much better than what is in there currently.
