Linux API version
Linux API version
Hi everyone,
I see the linux api is at version 1.1 while the windows api is at 1.5 giving more features like closing the 380-420MHz gap and setting LO frequency.
Will the linux version catch up with these features soon?
I am trying to choose between sdrplay and afedri sdr and this single fact makes it hard for sdrplay to be choosen.
Thanks,
jazzkutya

Re: Linux API version
The only difference between the Linux API and the Windows API is the missing gap coverage. I was including this in the new installer but I'm happy to post up the new API in the old installer. I can do this today. Sorry about that.

Re: Linux API version
Sorry for the late reply and big thank you for the new linux (and osx) api!
I have already jumped on it and came up with an sdr-ip protocol speaking server that you can see in the other topic of this board.
That allows me to use linrad and also SDRConsole (with wine) on linux (with limitations like 4 gain settings, sample rate between 1MHz and 2MHz).
It also works with SDR# .
Thanks,
jazzkutya
