Re: New features requests
NOT really a software request but a hardware request as "to Buy additionally" with below features.
It would Be Nice to have some sort of antenna splitter to connect to the sma connector. So It would be possible to hook up 2 antennas like vhf and hf so there is no need for manual switching. And of course with some bandpass filters included

Re: New features requests
My request for SDR# SDRplay plugin
is to have two separate controls (two drop down list)
-- one for "real" sampling rate (values 2M, 3M, etc.)
-- one controlling the range of freq. shown on the FFT/waterfall (values e.g. 100khz, 200khz, 500khz, 1M, 2M, ... 8M)
Tnx in advance

Re: New features requests
It will be nice to have external osc input for multiple SDRPlay synchronization.
Thanks and 73

Re: New features requests
Hi Jon,
Have you considered the same device with a network connection instead of USB? I'd pay more for it!

Re: New features requests
Hi Jon
My personal wish list:
* Stable support on gr-OsmoSDR (so, SDRPlay can be used on Linux and Mac, and also in GNURadio as a research SDR like HackRF and RTLs). Then it can be a very good device for learning SDR and signal processing (something between cheaper RTLs and more expensive USRPs)
* Better filters and improved HF support (although it's very good now, if HF support improves, more hams would buy it, especially for its good price. Serious HF SDRs like Elad products are much more expensive)

Re: New features requests
I know.....how about a cool sdrplay specific piece of software....that works with everything except an Airspy!

Re: New features requests
I'd just settle for a good piece of software written by a radio guy who's a programmer, rather than a programmer who's trying to be a radio guy... Simon's very close with SDR-Console....
