Using SDRPlay With HF/VHF/UHF Tranceiver

Hi Everyone

I am looking to get a transceiver for amateur / ham radio usage. However most of the radios do not have a RX out port.

I could run an additional wire antenna direct to the SDRPlay but this is unlikely to match my existing antenna's performance and might not be so good as using a separate antenna for VHF. Also it might cause overloading on transmit.

I am interested to know of other people's solutions where they have a similar radio with no RX out and they are utilising the benefits of SDRPlay to show a large part of the spectrum.

My HF Radio is Ten Tec Orion no receive out and no software command to mute audio ..I us a Switch Box made by Elad to control rf and audio and i use one antenna 80 Meter loop @ 60 ft it has worked well for me last 2 years i use a Elad sdr or Afedri and now messsing with RSP2 ..........
