SDR Console Scheduler
Hi,
I have been recording from my SDR Play RSP2 receiver using the SDR Console v3 with no issue.
I have set up the start/stop times for unattended recording but I don't see how it runs, I may be missing some step.
I have the start button clicked on the main menu "Data:Scheduler" and "Start Automatically" is checked but the scheduler still does not run. I have all my start/stop times set to local time.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Re: SDR Console Scheduler
The scheduler in SDR Console is a bit non-intuitive in my opinion. After setting up the times, you need to build a Temporary Schedule, and then activate that schedule.

Re: SDR Console Scheduler
I also use this sceduler on a daily base, and once I got over the three step setup, it seems very usable for me. You can also determine if you would like to make a series of repetitive daily recordings like use on MW raw I/Q regisrations as I supose you are aiming for. I select 30 days in succesion and revise the list to adapt to the daylight shift.
When I stll had my Perseus I used YaPS sceduler. Since I use the Elad FDM-S2 I never trusted the factory (SW2) software as it made frequent errors. When Simon made the sceduler function in Console v3 working I used this and it was reliable since day one.
Good luck!

Re: SDR Console Scheduler
Hi SDRnerd,
Yes, after I was given direction on how the scheduler works, I have been using it for the 11 days to do unattended recording using my ELD SW2. I will not go back to the factory software either, the console is more easier to use and more features in my book.
So, I am using the 30 days schedule, I assume every 30 days I need to setup a new schedule for the next month, right?
Thanks
