Installing the API on the Mac also installs SoapySDR and SoapySDPlay libraries.
However, you may want to rebuild the SoapySDR libraries without reinstalling the API. Here’s the code to do it…

Note: this code assumes that you have a Dev directory in your home account and will remove any existing SoapySDR and SoapySDRPlay directories you may have within it. If you do not have a Dev directory, create one using mkdir ~/Dev
Build SoapySDR…
cd ~/Dev
sudo rm -rf SoapySDR
git clone https://github.com/pothosware/SoapySDR.git
cd SoapySDR
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make
sudo make install
sudo ldconfig

Build SoapySDRPlay…
cd ~/Dev
sudo rm -rf SoapySDRPlay
git clone https://github.com/pothosware/SoapySDRPlay.git
cd SoapySDRPlay
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
sudo make install
sudo ldconfig

To check the SoapySDR installation, type the following into a terminal window:

SoapySDRUtil -info
and also
SoapySDRUtil --probe=sdrplay
(run twice if the RSP is not found the first time)
