RSP Spectrum analyser software available shortly
Re: RSP Spectrum analyser software available shortly
Hi Steve,
I see no other issues in display layout. Look forward to an improved version.
Regarding the difference between models, you can please take time as there is the trim function already provided.

Hi,
I also have the same issue regarding the options box.
The only way i can close it is by going to the task bar.
Currently running Windows 7.

Bob

This is an odd one. The box is a standard Windows dialogue box, I can see no reason why this should happen. Could you please let me know what your region setting and language is ?nolimit wrote:I also have the same issue regarding the options box.

Hi Steve,
When I compare some details of the screenshot of Yas, Bob and me then it strikes me that Yas has the word "Default" in stead of "Default Colors" in the textbox on top of the colorbox. I can not manage this by playing with the settings in the dialogue box.
When I check the box USA spelling then the word Colours (top left in Bold) changes to Colors.
I found a similar issue at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/698 ... -computers.
Perhaps changing some property settings of the winform of the dialogue box may help. In particular that it seems to be important that the Windows default font setting is used to avoid clipping.

Many thanks for the link. I think you're correct. I've been looking into this and it seems that a few things can cause the problem. Font sizing and DPI seem to be the most frequent culprit. The AutoScaleMode property on the options box was set to Font at design time, I thought this would have allowed for different font settings. Out of interest, does anybody see a similar problem when displaying the About box ?
I need to play around a bit before I post a potential fix. I've got a spare PC that needs some attention. I'll try and and get it running and use it to test this. I didn't want to try this on my development machine as I've found in the past that playing with region and language settings can sometimes cause unexpected problems (probably of my own making), as Yas found out with his email program.
If anybody else has this problem, it might be worth checking the display settings and making sure text size and custom scaling is set to 100%. In the meantime I'll see if anything other Windows settings can be changed to get a temporary fix for this problem.

I have a few bits to finish, then it's on to test and debug. I really don't want to stick my neck out and say before Christmas, but if not before, then early in the new year.
