Not saving windows
Not saving windows
Hi
I must be doing someting wrong because I cannot save my workspace. Whem I use "CTR+W" or "CTR+left mouse" on the name of the workspace, the screens disappear but the main screen on top left of the screen.
Last version of SDRuno and win 10.
Thanks for any help,
Regards

Hello. The method outlined on pages 12 &13 of the manual is correct as far as I recall.

SDRuno user manual v.1.23, pages 11, 12 and 13, as far as I can see, says nothing about saving workspace. Or am I missing something?
Thanks anyway.

Re: Not saving windows
Ah, in version 1.23 it's on page 18 onwards. I was looking at v1.22. I think the method is the same though. You might also find help on the SDRUno page on Facebook. It's a busy site with lots of helpful people.

Re: Not saving windows
On the SDRuno Main window:-
1. Click on a blank part of the window to select the window.
2. Press CTRL-W
3. A white list of all your workspaces appears
4. Click on the one you wish to save
5. A message 'Current Workspace Saved' appears
6. Click OK

Re: Not saving windows
Hi
Thanks once more but don't work.
I already uninstalled and reinstalled the program and the problem continues.
"CTR+W" does nothing. The "white list of all your workspaces" does not appears. Only if I click on "default workspace" (or other). Then, the list shows but, as I said before, as soon as I click on the one I want to save, all windows close and the one left is the main menu on top left of the screen. Nothing is saved.

Re: Not saving windows
Cmgam,
It seems, according to your description, you are selecting an existing workspace from the "white list" instead of saving one. All workspaces on that list, except the default one show only the Main window.
If I was you, I'd try to make sure that the CTRL button is functioning properly, e.g. CTRL-C, CTRL-V (copy, paste) in Notepad.
You might try the right CTRL button if your keyboard has one. You hold the CTRL down while tapping the W.
Cheers /Notko

Re: Not saving windows
Hi nOtko
The keys "CTR" and "W" work fine. "CTR+W" not.
I create a new workspace and called it SDR. But, as before, when I left click to save under that name... all windows close but the main one.
Thanks anyway.

I can't understand what's going on here. Perhaps it's time to go to the support centre and open a ticket. The developers are very friendly and will sort it out quickly.
