Having Have SDRuno Control External HF Radio's Frequenxy
Having Have SDRuno Control External HF Radio's Frequenxy
I would like to have SRDRuno control the frequency of my TS-590S transceiver.
Right now I can tune the SDRplay from my external radio (TS-590S) 'but i would like to have SDRuno also be able to control the transceiver frequency, that way I can get right on someone's frequency I see in the pan adapter with a mouse click.
I'm doing it now with SDR Consule, but I have been having problems after I transmit, in that the connection seems to be lost sometimes.
In summary I want to control frequency from both my transceiver and the SDR Play.
Thanks and 73'

Jeff, Simply open the settings window on the VRX and click on ORIG tab. There you will see two check boxes for controlling the rig and SDR. Make sure both are checked. I am using my TS-590SG and it works great. Joe -N3HEE

I should also mention that I am controlling my TS-590SG via Omni-Rig. Not by SDRuno CAT control.

"I should also mention that I am controlling my TS-590SG via Omni-Rig. Not by SDRuno CAT control."
Now I'm confused.
Been trying to get SDRUno to "play nice" with my FT-991. Nothing but a " VRX#0: The specified com device doesn't exist or is already open," warning.
I use omni-rig with SDR Console V3 just fine. Works with HDSRD too. Even a reboot to clear any 'hanging com' devices won't clear it.
So...how did you set up your radio with SDRUno without going through SDRUno's CAT control?
My com devices are"
Com5 <enhanced com port>
Com5 <standard com port>
I have "rig 1" in Omni-rig set for my FT-991 on Com 5. Rig 2 is on "none."
Thanks

Phil, close the cat port and just use omnirig, the error you are getting is because Uno is trying to connect to a cat port that is not available or in usePhillip wrote:

just uncheck the connect in the cat tab and use just omnrig for control.... Cat is used if you want another program like wxtoimg to control Uno or similar
